Aisha was about to follow them when something caught her eye,a simple yet striking ring in the corner of the display. It had a diamond set in a gold band with small diamonds adorning the band, elegant and timeless. She felt an undeniable pull toward it, her fingers reaching out as if drawn by some unseen force.
Omar, who had been right behind her, noticed her gaze. Before he could say anything, Aisha had quietly walked out of the store, following his mother. Omar quickly motioned for the store manager to pack the ring. He paid for it, then slipped the ring box into his blazer pocket, making sure not to mix it up with the other jewelry.
