The sky outside had started to mellow into hues of deep orange and dusty pink when Aisha finished her Asar prayer. Changing quickly into something light and flowy, she joined her aunt and cousin, and together, the three women set off for their little shopping adventure.
The mall buzzed with activity—laughs, chatter, footsteps, and clinks of hangers as they hopped from one store to another. Fariyal had a sharp eye for trends, while Bushra amiably offered suggestions, and Aisha, though slower in picking, eventually found a few pieces that made her heart smile. They tried clothes, browsed accessories, and argued lightheartedly over colors—Aisha jokingly calling Fariyal’s picks “too Gen Z” while Fariyal rolled her eyes dramatically in return.
